Plasterboard

At County we stock a wide selection of plasterboard, some of which are shown below.

Wallboards

Lafarge plasterboards are high-quality gypsum wallboards suitable for the drylining of walls and ceilings and for the construction of dry stud partitions.

Composition
All Lafarge plasterboards consist of a pure gypsum core bonded between two strong, high quality, recovered-waste-paper liners. The composition of the gypsum core is varied to create a range of plasterboards with different performance characteristics.

• Standard wallboards with tapered or square edges are available in a wide range of sizes. Plank is 19mm thick, 600mm wide Standard wallboard used in the construction of high performance partitions and floors. Baseboard and Lath are used as lining boards on ceilings.
• Homespan wallboard For use with the Homespan System. 15mm thick 900mm wide.
• Contour wallboard Lafarge Contour wallboard is a 6mm thick plasterboard designed for use on partitions and ceilings where curved surfaces are required.
• Sound Resistant wallboard is a heavy duty wallboard with improved acoustic performance.
• Moisturecheck wallboard is designed for those areas where moisture and humidity resistance are required, including bathrooms and kitchens. Firecheck and MR Firecheck wallboards offer a higher degree of fire resistance than Standard wallboard.
• Firecheck Coreboard is used in Lafarge fire protection systems for enclosure of shafts and encasement of structural steel.
• Thermalcheck board is a range of plasterboard thermal laminates comprising plasterboard bonded to different types of insulation to suit a variety of thermal requirements.
• Vapourcheck wallboard has a metalised film bonded to one face, which acts as a vapour control layer and can also give improved thermal performance.
• Toughcheck wallboard is a heavy duty plasterboard for use in active environments such as schools, hospitals and houses.

Accessories

• Lafarge Taping and Jointing
  Lafarge Taping and Jointing System is used for the seamless jointing of plasterboards. Once jointed, the finished surface is sealed ready to accept direct decoration.
• Lafarge Cove
  Lafarge Cove is gypsum coving used as a simple and cost effective way of adding attractive and distinctive features to wall and ceiling junctions.
• Lafarge Universal Texture
  Lafarge Universal Texture provides a crack-resistant textured decorative finish to interior walls and ceilings.
